MIND YOUR HEAD--AHAB & SPIKE
This "Bits & Pieces" is a little different. It features a new version formed from a few audio clips. Specifically, #4 is an extended version where I experimented with a spoken-word i.
The Internet Archive link below has 9 audio snipets with #7 being the closest to a finished song. Remember these snipets are experiments in song building, a map leading to another destination
I also completed a graphic design for the composition, which you can see below. If I ever manage to finish it, I'll post that version too, but please don't hold your breath!

Mind Your Head by Ahab & Spike
This piece was originally recorded on June 9, 2009, as an unmixed out take from a relaxed jam session with my friend Harry (Spike) at Level 3 Mania. This track was found by chance nearly 11 years later on an old hard drive.
We were floating on good vibes after a robust dinner, and with just a couple of chord changes written down, we simply went at it.
After unearthing it, I was inspired to refresh the track, creating a new, vocal-ready version. I had a grand idea to convey a trip to Mars to escape the crazy Covid scourge, and even wrote some lyrics, but never got around to finishing them. At least, not yet.
The discovery was a serendipitous moment during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it's a testament to the idea that some things are meant to be found when the time is right.
